Terms of Service

1. What SimplifyBids is

SimplifyBids is an independent service that aggregates publicly available government solicitation data (bids, RFPs, RFQs, and similar notices), organizes it, and uses automated and AI-assisted methods to score how well each opportunity fits your business profile, to flag potential teaming partners, and to deliver matches and digests to you.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency. The Service is an informational and discovery tool. It does not submit bids for you, does not represent you in any procurement, and is not a substitute for reviewing official solicitation documents on the issuing agency’s system of record.

The Service currently focuses on Los Angeles County and surrounding jurisdictions. We may add, change, or remove geographic coverage, data sources, and features at any time.

2. No guarantee of accuracy or outcomes

Solicitation data originates from third-party government sources. We do our best to keep it timely and complete, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, current, complete, or free of errors or omissions. Deadlines, requirements, and award histories shown in the Service may be incomplete or out of date. Always verify details against the official solicitation before relying on them.

Fit scores, pricing estimates, teaming suggestions, and other AI-generated outputs are informational only. They are not advice and carry no guarantee. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in any bid, award, contract, or revenue. You are solely responsible for your bidding decisions and submissions.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at alerts@simplifybids.leveragepointadvisory.co if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, $49 per month) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices may change with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing alerts@simplifybids.leveragepointadvisory.co. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, resell, redistribute, or create a competing product from the Service’s compiled data, scoring, or outputs;
• Share your account, or access the Service through automated means beyond features we provide;
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, or to misrepresent another business in the teaming directory.

6. Teaming directory

If you choose to make your business visible for teaming, profile details you mark as shareable become visible to other SimplifyBids members looking for partners. Participation is optional and you can turn it off in your settings. You are responsible for the information you choose to share. See our Privacy Policy for how this works.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, scoring methodology, and the organized, enriched presentation of data — is owned by Leverage Point Advisory and protected by intellectual property laws. Underlying government solicitation facts are public. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business purposes while your account is in good standing. The information and content you provide remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data or match will lead to a particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leverage Point Advisory will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost contracts, lost bids, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leverage Point Advisory and its owners and personnel from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your bids or submissions, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The Service is available to users in and outside California; regardless of where you access it, you and we agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute that may be brought in court will be the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If our coverage or operations expand to other states, we may update this section accordingly.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe creates risk for us or other users.
